Art on Lark 2026 Load In Instructions

If you are able, you’re welcome to bring your stuff in with a wagon or a cart to avoid driving timelines and congestion. You will also be able to leave earlier if needed. The following rules really only apply to those who need to drive their vehicles in. Obviously we would want you there for as much of the festival as possible but if you have scheduling issues or driving concerns, you’re welcome to bring things in from either end with a handtruck/cart/wagon.
LOAD IN
All vendors should plan to arrive between 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.
You will be able to enter with your vehicle only via State Street and exit via Hamilton Street (all other streets will be barricaded by Albany PD).
Pull up to your booth space, unload quickly, and move your vehicle via Hamilton Street before setting up your booth. This is very important to avoid a vendor traffic jam on Lark Street.
All vehicles MUST be moved off of Lark Street no later than 10 AM.
PARKING
Free street parking is available on all side streets in the Center Square neighborhood surrounding Lark Street, and in nearby Washington Park, Madison Ave and Washington Ave. The County Lot is available on a first come, first served basis which is on Washington Ave (just up from Lark St). Additional off-street parking is available nearby at Parking Lot 2 (72 Central Ave), Parking Lot 3 (327 Washington Ave), and Parking Lot 4 (124 Central Ave). Parking at off-street parking lots is subject to fees. For more information about parking in the City of Albany please visit: www.parkalbany.com.
LOAD OUT
The event ends at 6:00 PM.
Once the event is over you may start packing up and bring your vehicle back around via the State Street entrance again.

IMPORTANT INFO:
Lark Street will be closed to all traffic except vendors starting at 7AM. Booth spaces will be situated on Lark Street directly in front of the sidewalk, facing into the street. Spaces are 10' wide by 10' deep each. Vendors are responsible for bringing everything needed for their own display setup, including tents, tables, chairs, etc. Please make sure each tent leg is weighed down by tent weight 10lbs each leg minimum, at least 40lbs total.
This event is rain or shine! There looks to be a little rain in the forecast but we’re not going to cancel unless it’s dire so be prepared to protect your stuff accordingly!
